We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OBGYN Hospitalist to join the staff of Corpus Christi Medical Center - Bay Area.

• CC - Bay Area is proud to deliver over 3,500 babies annually, and offers a Level-III NICU with experienced care and advanced technology
• Our team of highly motivated OB Hospitalists perform deliveries, covers the OB & main Emergency Department, round on inpatients and manage transports
• 24-hour shifts

Bay Area is a full-service, acute care hospital with an adjacent three-story medical office building. Specialized services include a 24-hour Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Services, Robotic Surgery and the Breast Center of South Texas. The Bay Area Campus is also home to The Women's Center at Bay Area, which offers a Women's and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, state-of-the-art birthing suites, and comprehensive nursery services. The Corpus Christi Cancer Center, a full-service, free-standing cancer center, is adjacent to Bay Area Hospital. Corpus Christi Medical Center's Surgical Weight Loss Program at Bay Area Hospital specializes in minimally invasive robotic surgery for weight loss.

Located on the South Texas coast, Corpus Christi has earned its fair share of nicknames like the "Texas Riviera" or the "Sparkling City by the Sea" with its eleven sun-soaked beaches, two marinas, an average temperature of about seventy degrees and approximately 255 days of sunshine every year. Situated about 140 miles southeast of San Antonio, Corpus Christi is one of the largest cities in the state and home to long barrier islands like South Padre Island. The region boasts a great economy and industry, low housing costs and an overall low cost of living with no state income tax.
