Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an ambitious Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Family Medicine Team.

The Opportunity:

We are a 14-provider family medicine clinic, part of a larger health system that has served the Fairbanks community for over 60 years. Our expertise runs from newborn care to geriatric issues and everything in between. As part of a rural health system, you will have the opportunity to manage aspects of care that you would have to pass off in other settings, allowing you to round out your skills and expand your breadth of experience.

• Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience Generous benefits. 40k sign-on bonus.
• Schedule: M-F 40 hours per week
• Team: This will be an opportunity to manage patients independently with physician oversight as needed for support.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master's degree in nursing.

Must be approved to practice as a Pediatric NP (PNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.

Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Depending on business need/area of focus, this position may require graduation from an ACNM accredited nurse-midwifery education program, as well as a current NRP certification. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.

Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
