We are looking for talented Registered Nurses to join our Inpatient Observation Unit team here at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

We are a family-oriented 8 bed Inpatient Observation Unit with a patient ratio of 1:4. Our unit cares for a diverse patient population of Medical, Surgical, and Telemetry patients. The most frequent diagnoses seen on our unit include kidney disease, infectious disease, oncology, transplant, and cardiac patients. Our unit is team oriented and works closely with our two "sister units", Med Acute 10E and 11E.

Qualifications
- 1+ year of RN experience
- Prior RN experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or IMC preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification required through the American Heart Association
