The perfect part time position for an experienced ED or Critical Care nurse who wants enjoys working in the Urgent Care setting but doesn’t want to work the 12 hour shifts! This position is only 24 hours a week, 5 PM - 11PM during the week, and weekends, 12 PM - 11 PM. Located in the East Valley. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in an ED/Urgent Care or Critical Care setting. Peds experience is a huge plus. NO New Grads, please.
This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Experience
Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
