Psychiatrist, Morristown
Position Summary: Provides direct, comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management and short-term follow-up care for patients, including adults, adolescents, and children, in the Behavioral Health Assessment Center. Works closely with the Coordinator of the Assessment Center, Crisis Intervention Services, Medical Director of Outpatient Services and the Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry to provide clinical excellence to all psychiatric patients presenting for services. Additionally, provides cross coverage, as needed, for the Crisis Intervention Service and Emergency Department, as well as the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service and Inpatient Service.
